World of Hyatt Fall 2026 Promotion: Earn Up to 36,000 Bonus Points
World of Hyatt Fall 2026 Promotion: Earn Up to 36,000 Bonus Points
The headline is 36,000 points. The more useful part is how Hyatt counts the nights — three Eligible Nights don't have to be one three-night stay.
World of Hyatt is back with a new global promotion for fall 2026, offering members up to 36,000 Bonus Points on eligible stays. The offer runs from September 29 through December 15, 2026. Once registered, members earn 3,000 Bonus Points for every three Eligible Nights, up to a total of 36,000 Bonus Points.
The headline number is 36,000 points, but the more interesting part may be how Hyatt counts the nights. You don't need to stay three nights in a row, or even complete them as part of the same stay. Eligible Nights add up throughout the offer period — which makes this promotion much easier to use for travelers who tend to book shorter Hyatt stays.

02Three Nights Means Three Nights — Not a Three-Night Stay
This is the detail we like most about the offer. Hyatt isn't asking members to complete a three-night stay. It's counting Eligible Nights across your stays, which is a meaningful difference.
If you usually book one- or two-night trips, those nights don't go to waste simply because they're spread across separate stays. They keep adding up toward the next three-night mark as long as they fall within the offer dates.
Reach three Eligible Nights and you earn 3,000 Bonus Points. Reach six and you've earned 6,000. The same pattern continues all the way to the 36,000-point cap.
03So, What Actually Counts as an Eligible Night?
Hyatt defines an Eligible Night as a night when a World of Hyatt member pays an Eligible Rate or redeems a Free Night Award at a hotel or property included in the offer. Your World of Hyatt membership number also needs to be added to the reservation before checkout.
The room rule is the one worth knowing if you sometimes book rooms for family or friends. Their rooms can be on your account, but they won't push you toward the next bonus faster.
04How the 36,000-Point Maximum Actually Works
The 36,000-point headline can sound more complicated than it is. Hyatt simply adds another 3,000 Bonus Points every time you complete another set of three Eligible Nights.
Bonus Points earned by Eligible Nights completed during the offer period.
So yes, you need 36 Eligible Nights to collect the full 36,000-point bonus. You can think of the promotion as roughly 1,000 extra points per Eligible Night, but with one catch: Hyatt gives the bonus in three-night blocks.
Finish the offer period with only one or two nights toward your next block and there is no partial bonus. Hit the next multiple of three, and another 3,000 points unlocks. That distinction matters more than the "1,000 points per night" shorthand might suggest.
05A Few Details Worth Knowing
The points from this promotion are Bonus Points, not Base Points. They'll increase your World of Hyatt points balance, but they don't count as Base Points toward earning elite status.
This promotion can also work alongside other offers unless another offer specifically says it can't. If you already have another Hyatt offer on your account, it's worth checking its rules rather than assuming you have to choose between the two.
And don't worry if the bonus doesn't show up immediately after checkout. Hyatt says to allow two to three weeks for the promotional points to appear.
06Is the Promotion Worth Paying Attention To?
If you weren't planning a Hyatt stay in the first place, that's not really where this offer gets interesting. But if you already have Hyatt stays planned, there isn't much to manage.
And because Hyatt doesn't require those nights to be consecutive, even travelers who only stay with Hyatt occasionally have a realistic shot at reaching at least one bonus level. For frequent Hyatt guests, the math simply scales from there.
07Make More of Your Hyatt Stays
Bonus points are one way to get more from Hyatt stays. Elite benefits are another. World of Hyatt Globalist status can add some of the program's most valuable hotel benefits:
Subject to World of Hyatt terms and the rules for each benefit.
Upgrade My Trip currently offers a Hyatt Globalist package for $799, with the 20-night Globalist Challenge handled for you from registration through completion. Under the current offer, Globalist status is valid through March 2028 after the challenge is successfully completed and the status appears in your account. The package now also includes 21,000 World of Hyatt points to use toward future Hyatt stays and other eligible rewards.

08Bottom Line
Up to 36,000 Bonus Points is the number Hyatt is putting front and center, but the flexibility of the promotion is what stands out to us.
Three Eligible Nights don't need to mean one three-night trip. They can add up across eligible stays from September 29 through December 15, with another 3,000 Bonus Points earned every time you reach the next three-night mark.
If Hyatt is already in your travel plans this fall, register before your next stay and let the nights you were going to book anyway do a little more work for you.
