Is This a Status Challenge?

Yes, the Platinum Challenge lasts for 3 months. During this period, you must meet the following requirements to extend your Platinum Medallion status:

• 18,750 MQMs or 24 MQS
• $2,250 MQDs (or a waiver through Delta co-branded credit card spend)

Once you meet these requirements, your status will extend into 2026.

Normal Platinum Status Requirements

To achieve Platinum Medallion without the challenge, you’d need:

• 75,000 MQMs or 100 MQS
• $9,000 MQDs (or a waiver)

The challenge reduces these significantly, making it more accessible.

How Long Does the Status Last?

• Initial Challenge Period: 3 months.
• Extended Status: Earn Platinum through February 2026 by meeting the challenge requirements.

Log into your Delta SkyMiles account to view your status and track your progress throughout the challenge.

Return Policy
